This information is accurate at the time of going to print. Please check the most up to date rules and regulations re eligibility to practice in India post-graduation, with the National Medical Commission.
Candidates applying with the IB Diploma or A Levels may be eligible for consideration for either the five or six-year entry route, depending on their final year subjects and grades (see IB Diploma and A Levels entry requirements).
(2) Applicants from the European Union (EU):
Please note that as a general rule, RUMC is not able to accept applicants who are eligible for the Central Applications Office (CAO). However, we do review applicants on a case-to-case basis. For more information or clarification, please get in touch with our education counsellors.
Our Pre-Med programme consists of 8 modules, amounting to 60 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits in total.
- Certain modules carry 5 credits while some others come with 10 credits.
- The rationale behind the introduction of 10 credit modules into the FY was primarily to decrease the assessment burden on students in Semester 1 (being mindful of the challenges faced by some students on making the transition to tertiary level education).
You are required to pass all modules for the successful completion of the Pre-Med Foundation Year programme and to progress into the 5-Year Medical Degree programme.
Firm offer will be provided upon the release of final results.
