RCSI Surgical Training Office is located within the premises of RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus (RUMC). It manages the conduct, organisation, and implementation of various RCSI examinations, courses and research.

- The RCSI Membership Examination is an intercollegiate exam that consists of two parts:
MRCS Part A and MRCS Part B.
- The Intercollegiate MRCS Examinations are held at RUMC several times a year.
- MRCS Part A is held worldwide simultaneously.

- RCSI collaborates with sister Royal Colleges and offers the Joint Surgical Colleges’ Fellowship Examination (JSCFE).
- The exam is held in response to the growing demand for an international examination that marks the endpoint of surgical training for doctors.
- It also certifies their capacity to serve as independent practitioners.

- The Intercollegiate Basic Surgery Skills Course is held 2-4 times a year at RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus and at other venues in the country.
- The certification and quality assurance are provided by RCSI.
